  so i finally got the shahnameh and the first thing that caught my eye was Rostam farrokhzad Sassanian Sepahbod(general)- after Yazdegerd III dies - the sassanians name was removed from iran - for 300 years we have no idea what the arabs did in that country we dont even know the persian we speak now is the same language the sassanid spoke (pahlavi)
