  • The first video is shocking. I know shit like this has been happening in Iran, not to this extend.
    • BTW, I wish you could understand the lyrics from the song. It's by one of our famous singers, Dariush, who was actually in jail and tortured during the Shah's time for singing songs that were against the regime, and now he is singing against the one in power since 1979!! :(
  • Well... I hope everyone else watches it and gets an idea of how much worse things are back there!! thank you for your comment.
  • Very hard to watch... the truth is shocking.
    • So hard to watch, but very important to spread word to the international community.
  • Thanks! I just forwarded this to a lot of Iranians I know. Not that they don't know what's happening there. You never know who they forward it to.
  • Thanks for this channel. I created something similar a while ago. Yours is more comprehensive though. I just shared it with my list.
  • I can't believe we are allowing Ahmadinejad speaking in Columbia University today
  • Wow...that is so intense. No wonder there is so much controversy over the Iranian president speaking at Columbia today!
  • Thank you all so much for your comments. I am very happy that you all watched it and hopefully forwarded the channel to your friends as well. It is important to spread the word and I agree with the fact that Ahmadinejad shouldn't have been to even come out to the states, let alone speak at Columbia University. Thank you again everyone!
  • Let's hope that world-famous Abbas Kiarostami who is busy amassing international Awards for his 'soft' films of stunning Persian women in Hijabs and beautiful sweet children - abstract films made for foreign film festivals, vague films that seem to 'endorse' the 'anti women' and 'anti human rights' oxymoronic Islamic Republic of Iran - let's hope that old Kiarostami hiding behind his dark glasses - who lives like a Pasha in Tehran, apparently taking advantage of young actresses to whom he gives leading roles - will at last dare to make 'toug' films about the moving, indrecible human stories of these un speakable tragedies. He could follow the noble path of Yilmaz Guney, the Kurdish master filmmaker who wrote and directed his Cannes 1982 Palme d"Or winner YOL from Turkish prison (via his assistant.) Yilmaz Guney died in exile in Paris buried at Pere La Chaise with honorable men of the Arts: Chopin, Oscar Wilde, ...
    • I couldn't agree with you more.
  • Islamic vicious Iran also sent Hezbullah murderers to kill 80 innocent people in Argentina in 1994 (AMIA building).
  • This IS the Islamic Republic and all that it endorses. The world needs to know this. Thank you, raana41 and aami8p. You have done an invaluable service to anyone interested in liberty, in free thinking, free speaking and free living people all around the globe. I am proud of you and proud of your mettle. FYI: the singer is Farhad, and the song is about black Fridays. --ka
    • Thank you very much for your nice comments and compliment. :) BTW, I know the singer is Farhad, as I grew up with his music as a child and teenager, but thank you for indicating that, in case some people don't know the song. With warm regards, Raana
