Tuesday, November 7 will present us with a great challenge: to elect candidates who place America first. Voters should head to the polls with one thought in mind: which candidates will place American interests and values ahead of all other considerations?

The status of Pennsylvania’s Lieutenant Governor, Catherine Baker Knoll, has emerged as an important issue in the state’s gubernatorial race.

Democrat Knoll, who is in her mid-seventies, has served in this post for three and a half years after serving eight years as the state treasurer. Knoll has become known for her occasional mishaps and is now being blasted by her Republican opponent for refusing to debate prior to the November election..........

Former Florida Rep. Mark Foley’s perverted instant messages sent to underage pages are disgraceful and disgusting. It is a shame that people who occupy such important offices show such little restraint with regards to their perverted desires. While Foley’s actions are far more disappointing than Bill Clinton’s, it is one more account of people that we trust to represent us--letting us down through sexual indulgence.

Initially I was going to post a good and long comment in response to yesterday’s publicly submitted piece that boasted about the successes of the Bush tax cuts. However, once I had eclipsed a few hundred words in that comment, it became clear to me that a full article was more suitable. Without further ado, here is the real truth about our economy; opposed to the conservative, right-wing, sugar-coated fairytale that you all read about yesterday. Also, I will cite my sources, and better explain the terminology used.

If you were to listen to the mainstream press from the Northeast, for example, or to the mainstream commentary, or to democrats, you would think that the President's tax cuts were basically a benefit to the wealthy in America at the detriment to those who are not so wealthy.
