The 2008 Campaign for Darfur
As America prepares to elect our next president, the genocide in Sudan continues unabated. American citizens need to know if the next president of the United States has the moral courage to finally end the genocide in Darfur. To this end, we are calling on the 2008 presidential candidates to make Darfur a political priority in their campaign, and in their presidency. Over the coming months we will be working to ensure that Darfur is an important issue in this election. Together we will make Darfur visible to the candidates and media; obtain concrete commitments from the candidates on Darfur policies; and let the candidates know that American votes for Darfur.
