Sprint, Samsung Teaming For NYC WiMax
Samsung Electronics will build a WiMax network for Sprint Nextel in the New York area, adding to its previous orders for fourth-generation wireless contracts in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. According to Sprint, the WiMax network will allow handsets and notebook computers access to the Internet at speeds up to five times faster than those currently available.
