The Pediatric Cancer Foundation located in Tampa, Florida (FL), is a non-profit organization that raises money to fund pediatric cancer research, in the hope of finding a cure, which will lead to the elimination of pediatric cancer worldwide. Since its formation in 1991, the Pediatric Cancer Foundation has experienced tremendous growth and funded millions of dollars in seed grants to leading institutions, in support of research projects involved in finding a cure for pediatric cancer. The Pediatric Cancer Foundation developed ‘The Sunshine Project’, a novel collaborative research initiative, to fast-track new treatments and increase the survival rate for children battling cancer.
