Huffington Post Plans Foray Into Local News
Arianna Huffington, founder of www.huffingtonpost.com, said the site plans to expand into local news across the U.S. Speaking at the Guardian News & Media’s Future of Journalism conference, Huffington said that effort would start in Chicago, where the site will aggregate news, sports, crime, arts and business infomation from different local sources as well as contributions from bloggers.
