Larry Craig Taps His Way Into Webb GI Bill Debate - Politics on The Huffington Post
"Critics, such as Patrick Campbell, legislative director for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, argued that Graham's bill was "simply an attempt to derail Sen. Webb and Sen. Warner's fast-moving Post-9/11 GI Bill." And indeed, on Monday, Sen. Barack Obama admonished McCain for not signing on to Webb's measure. "He is one of the few senators of either party who oppose this bill because he thinks it's too generous," Obama claimed, "I couldn't disagree more."~~~~Is it too "generous" for our soldiers to come home, if they get home, dismembered, suffering from PTS, or injured to the point where they cannot function on their own?
