  • Good one! Would you associate your links to a group or groups on searchles so I can track it. I also think you will receive more traffic on it once posted under a group - as long as it is a related group. If you can't find the right group for your postings, you can create your own. Just FYI. Thanks
    • Hi Paulh, thanx for the hint. I just added the link to the groups I think it is associated with. I'm a little bit confused on searchles. The reason for that is the handling of the page reminds me more on a news feed (with listings of the latest entries) than on a page to manage links to other pages. Do you want it to be that way?
      • Wow! That is a lot of group you assosiated your link with. Looking at your site again, I think the only one group is truely related to mywhere2go are "European Travel", "Travel", "Hotels", and "Leisure Lifestyles". I just can't relate it to other group. I think you might make alot of users to run away from your site if they don't make the link between your site and other non-relevent groups such as Web 2.0 etc. So, if I were you, I would get my site off of other groups. Your call. Anyway, thanks. I will track you site and forward it to a few people I know they might be interested.
        • Actually, Paulh, given what he's saying it's about, I think it still belongs in the search engines and social bookmarking groups as well. Some of us write about that stuff and appreciate the possible source material. ;-) I admit I haven't looked at the site yet though.
          • Hi Terry, I put the link back to the web 2.0 and social bookmarking groups. Somehow the service belongs to these topics, even when I don't really like these buzz words. I think, by looking at the current content in the search engines groups, myWhere2go does not really belong to this group. Off course we offer a kind of a search engine, but our search mechanism allows only to find data on our site not in the whole internet. The most links I found in the search engine group where pointing to internet search engines.
  • Interesting site. I also like 43places.com (site related to 43people and 43things and backed by Amazon).
    • Yes, it’s really an interesting site. However, I think 43places has a different focus than myWhere2go. myWhere2go is more focused on recommendations and ratings whereas 43places seems to have a more picture centric approach. However quite interesting to see what is out there.
