The Wall Street Journal has confirmed talks between the two biggest U.S. cable providers, Comcast and Time Warner Cable, regarding the development of a new wireless company. The partnership would be operated by Sprint Nextel Corp. and Clearwire Corp., and would create a nationwide wireless network using WiMax technology.
