    It should be Iranian. We had been carrying the name Iran all along. The term Persain, Pars, Darius, Cyrus, Xerxes, etc. are the Greek language which was given to us by them. So, Persia is Iran, Cyrus is Kooroush, Darius is Darioush, Xerxez is Khashayar, Pars is Fars or Iran. I realize a lot of Iranians prefer to carry the name Persian, but it is a mistake. my 2 cents

      i need to understand this too hamideh.. do u mean that persians came from turkey or its turkish word? all i know is persians an old civilization and it was in iran.. also i need to understand why i have many friends in kuwait or Emirates they talk persian language with eachother..i understand why in emirates because alot of them are persians original but why in kuwait i hear them speak irani? and is there any differences between irani language and persian?

        JO, the root of Iranians are Aryans (The Present Germany). The name Iran is from Aryans. They settled sounth of Iran called Shiraz back in 2700 years ago. The expanded the Fars Empire (Persian Empire from North of India to 1/2 of egypt including the entire Middle East (excluding Suadi Arabia) to the Entire Turkey in North. The name Persian was given to us by Greeks. There are great Videos on searchles on this. I will create a channel for it and let you know
