Washington, DC -- Merlin International, a Colorado-based seller of
information technology products to a variety of federal government
customers, has topped Washington Technology's newly released "Fast
50" list of the fasted growing IT services companies in the government
market. The list ranks companies according to their rate of growth over
the past five years. Merlin led the way with a compound annual growth
rate of 232.5%, followed by Silver Spring-based DKW Communications
and Herndon-based Guident Technologies. Alaska-based Chenega,
which provides IT, professional services and engineering services to the
government, also topped the magazine's Top 25 8(a) list, recognizing the
25 largest IT businesses that participate in the government's program to
help minority and disadvantaged business owners. Both lists appear in
Washington Technology's Oct. 16 issue.
