Search Engineers
We are looking for computer scientists with a strong interest in information retrieval to help us create the next generation of search. We prefer applicants with academic or work experience in information retrieval who are eager to be part of a startup environment. What we need from you:
- * Java programming skills
- * Experience with a variety of algorithms and data structures
- * The capability and willingness to solve problems that most people think impossible

- * Some Linux skills

Strongly desired:
- * Information search and retrieval experience including:
- * Text/Entity/Topic Extraction
- * Natural Language Processing
- * Clustering algorithms
- * Very strong Linux skills
- * Ruby on Rails experience
Your duties:
You will be doing hardcore Java programming of everything from distributed applications to search engine relevancy scoring to innovative clustering algorithms. A lot of the work involves optimizing and improving algorithms and data structures - make sure you love that sort of thing.
