Note: This is one of the syndication deals that Homechoice did with local government. Got quite a bit of press over its Police CCTV feeds. It even has an onscreen button, called 'report a crack den'

Note: Tickets for Big Beach Boutique III went on sale and sold out. Brighton postcodes only. I have mine, lets hope it doesn't rain. I could always stick them on eBay.

Note: I saw this some time ago and revisted recently. I really like the idea. I have set up a small neighbourhood community site. The problem is how to deal with low traffic. Doesn't look like these guys have a problem though. I think there is tons of opportunity in local communities, the only way it could work in a bigger context is to retain the local feel but allow communities to interact.

At last high-res images outside London
Note: I was not impressed when I first discovered Google Earth, the image quality outside London is appauling. Microsoft however have done better and paid more attention to the rest of us. Looks at though they have got the aerial photography from GetMapping.com As its simpler, being web based, it may get the upperhand if they can sort out a decent range of local search and services.
