Larry Craig Taps His Way Into Webb GI Bill Debate - Politics on The Huffington Post
Note: "Critics, such as Patrick Campbell, legislative director for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, argued that Graham's bill was "simply an attempt to derail Sen. Webb and Sen. Warner's fast-moving Post-9/11 GI Bill." And indeed, on Monday, Sen. Barack Obama admonished McCain for not signing on to Webb's measure. "He is one of the few senators of either party who oppose this bill because he thinks it's too generous," Obama claimed, "I couldn't disagree more."~~~~Is it too "generous" for our soldiers to come home, if they get home, dismembered, suffering from PTS, or injured to the point where they cannot function on their own?

Note: Exactly what Obama needs. He's rapidly losing the blue-collar vote to Clinton. IMO, some political maneuvering may be going on - Edwards on the ticket, maybe? Edwards said last week or so that he wasn't interested in VP, but now who knows? Either way, it's a good shot in the arm for Obama.

Note: Talk about political BS, you have got to see this. This Rev. Wright issue is bringing me to the point of nausea. "Chief White Woman" - Now we have the media itself injecting racism into the whole election. It's there already and not such an undercurrent. Gawd, I hate the media!

Note: Australia's Sunday News reports on an Australian government official who is facing calls to resign after admitting that he sniffed a female lawmaker's chair seat after she had stood up. The same lawmaker was recently in trouble for snapping the bra of another female lawmaker.~~~LOL

Note: I do not watch Fox News, but this came to me from Huffpo, so I let it slide. Fox is probably the most biased news station, but it's strange - they change their bias as many times as I change web pages! I especially dislike O'Reilly.
