Note: Nima Nourizadeh graduated from Central St. Martins College of Art & Design with a BA Hons in Fine Art Film & Video in 1999.Nima went on to make his breakthrough video for Hot Chip's 'Over and Over' in 2005, a hilarious tongue-in-cheek deconstruction of the pop promo-making process, which caught the attention of the media and cult-like following from fans.His videos for Lily Allen (LDN & Littlest Things) established Nima as a ground breaking talent to reckon with. He went on to deliver the stunning, Roger Rabbit homaging video for Mark Ronson's hit single 'Oh My God', featuring an animated Lily Allen, designed by cult Parisian illustrator Fafi.Nima's latest promos include a hilarious promo for the stars of the HBO cult show 'Flight of the Conchords', and one for Santogold, noted in Music Week as 'a brilliant video that takes this song to another level', and nominated for an MTV European Award at the 2008 EMA's.Nima also received 5 nominations at the 2008 Music Video Awards in the UK, including Best Director.

Barack Obama's link to the mullah's of Iran.: All My Friends, this is very important, please take the time to read it.
Note: This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since than. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking 'where did the money come from for Obama'. I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.I started looking into Obama's life

Note: In one of those coincidences that add some spice to events, the passage of the $700 billion financial bailout package by the US Congress the other day came at the same time as some dyed-in-wool romantics were marking the 160th anniversary of the publication of the Communist Manifesto.As you know, the slim volume penned by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in 1848 is an almost messianic hymn to the end of capitalism and the advent of the Communist utopia. It is, therefore, no surprise that some commentators have tried to see the current problems in the banking sector of the major Western economies as a fulfillment of the Manifesto's predictions."Capitalism is dying," announced he French left wing daily Liberation."Maybe Marx was right, after all, "noted a British friend who has spent most of his adult life fighting Communism." I plan to go back and read the Manifesto."

Iraqi PM discusses US pact with Shiite cleric - Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani-
Note: BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraq's most influential Shiite cleric indicated Friday he would not stand in the way a long-term U.S. security deal if it's approved by the country's democratic institutions, the prime minister said.Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani's office had no comment. Public opposition by the aging Iranian-born cleric could scuttle any agreement because of his vast influence within the majority Shiite community.Meanwhile, thousands of supporters of anti-U.S. cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, who opposes an accord to extend the U.S. presence beyond the end of the year, marched through eastern Baghdad to mourn the killing of a Sadrist lawmaker.

Note: Barack Obama told the Iraqi government that George W Bush should not be allowed to strike a deal on the future of American troops in the country without the approval of the US Congress, it has emerged.

Russian scientist 'helped Iran with nuclear weapons programme'
