Cuba detains rocker, will try him for 'social dangerousness'
Note: The Cuban rocker whose biting profanity-laced lyrics against the Castro government has previously gotten him in trouble is now in detention and expected to face trial Friday, according to human rights groups in Havana.

Note: Inside the Pepsi Center this week, the true rock stars are the correspondents of The Daily Show, besieged by politicos and press, posing for pictures and being filmed by fans as they film their fake news reports. "If ever you're going to get recognized and adulation, it's going to be at the Democratic National Convention," says Larry Wilmore, the "senior black correspondent" of the satirical news team.

new Nuttcups episode - Life's A Beach
Note: Summer's nearly over and the Nuttcups gang decide to take a trip to the beach. The dirty, disgusting Chicago beach. Herky buries himself in the sand to get a better look at bikinis and Bonecrushin' N*gga is trying to barbeque his soy patties but is interrupted by inconsiderate homosexuals and suburbanites. Funny stuff.

EA Signs Natasha Bedingfield To Front “Boogie Superstar”
Note: Electronic Arts has hired singer Natasha Bedingfield to be the spokesperson for “Boogie Superstar” for Nintendo’s Wii. The game, scheduled for release in October, will include The Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys and several others in its soundtrack.

TiVo Teams Up With Entertainment Weekly
Note: TiVo has formed a partnership with Entertainment Weekly designed to “reinvent how TV fans in print and online connect with their favorite shows.” TiVo devices will automatically record TV shows featured among Entertainment Weekly’s “What To Watch” recommendations. TiVo users will also be able to download and view EW.com shows like “Ausiello TV,” “Idolatry” and “Just A Minute.”
