Note: I love when I find a product that we can use on several items and in recipes. Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce is one of those products.
I asked if I would be able to give a couple of my readers a chance to try this. Of course, they said yes! So Country Bob’s will be sending 2 lucky readers 2 bottles of the All Purpose Sauce! tags: country bob

Note: Tetanus? Is that even a thing anymore? Who’s ever heard of someone who has tetanus? Not me.
Well, until I went to Cincinnati. Until I met (!) the President & CEO of US Fund for UNICEF, Caryl Stern. Until I saw the video diary of Bryan McCleary, Director of External Relations of P&G and his trip with UNICEF to Angola, Africa. tags: unicef

Note: Fourteen mom bloggers from across North America spent two days at Pampers Baby Care Headquarters, and at a general level, the experience was refreshingly similar to the Disney blogger event I participated in this spring in that it shed new light on a big brand that I assumed was solely focused on revenue. tags: pampers

Note: Not one of us walked away from our visit with UNICEF USA’s CEO Caryl Stern unaffected by her descriptions of the thousands of preventable neonatal and maternal deaths from Tetanus, a totally preventable disease. The cost of a single vaccine? Five cents. There was no question we weren’t going to do something about it. tags: unicef

Note: Plant City Detective Mark Holste had been on the force for 18 years when he and his young partner were sent to the house on Old Sydney Road to stand by during a child abuse investigation. Someone had finally called the police.

Note: It's easy to write off scammer victims as being a screw loose. I mean, who would be dumb enough to part with thousands of dollars with someone they had never met? But, it's happening every day, and chances are it's happening on your dating site. This scammer victim made a believer of me. She doesn't have a screw loose, she was just vulnerable. tags: online dating groups: in Online Dating, Dating Community, online-dating

Note: Do you ever find yourself frustrated that the charities that you give to keep a huge portion of your donation to themselves to cover “overhead” costs? I know I feel that way a lot, so when I come across a charity that gives 100% of your donation to the kids, I want to scream about it from the rooftops. tags: charity
