Book Review: The Devil's Delusion: Atheism And Its Scientific Pretensions
Note: The most enjoyable aspect of The Devil's Delusion is that Berlinski is every bit as militant in his theism as Dawkins and company ever thought about being in their atheism, and he is clever and witty to the point of providing the reader with several full belly laughs.

Profiteers?: 25 Companies That Benefit From The War
Note: The Iraq war is many things to different people. It is called a strategic blunder and a monstrous injustice and sometimes even a patriotic mission, much to the chagrin of rational human beings. For many big companies, however, the war is something far different: a lucrative cash-cow.

Mystery Explosions Point to Iran's Secret Arms Shipments to Terrorists
Note: July 25, 2008 - Telegraph - Con Coughlin in Vienna - For an organisation that prides itself on being a well-run administrative machine, the leadership of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards is having a rather testing time. It’s not just last Saturday’s mysterious explosion in a suburb of Tehran that killed 15 people that is causing the leadership sleepless nights, although the nationwide news black-out imposed immediately afterwards does suggest the Revolutionary Guards, the storm troops of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, are rattled.

Obama’s Berlin Speech Video-Transcript-Analysis
Note: Barack Obama delivered a major foreign policy speech in 30-minutes to 200,000 enthusiastic onlookers and supporters at the base of the “Victory Column” - the Siegessäule in the middle of a roundabout called the Grosser Stern in the Tiergarten Park - Berlin’s sprawling park in the center of the city. When a reporter asked the senator if he considered the address a campaign event, he said with a puzzled look: “As opposed to?” “It’s not a political rally,” he added. “Hopefully, it will be viewed as a substantive, articulation of the relationship I’d like to see between the United States and Europe. I’m hoping to communicate across the Atlantic the value of that relationship and how we need to build on it.”The entire text (added bonus pictures also from the Berlin Speech), to the Obama Berlin speech is down loadable at end of this narrative.

Review: 'Step Brothers' full of funny stuff
Note: Stop me if you've heard this one before, but producer Judd Apatow has another hit comedy on his hands. This time it's "Step Brothers," an astute no-brainer that's also Will Ferrell's funniest effort since "Talladega Nights."
