Note: they advertise themselves as a flickr but for timelines. pretty interactive, but you cannot see multiple time scales to get an idea of how long the timeline is or where activity is greatest. for this, check out the simile timelines (http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/) -- these are really fantastic timelines!
