Hulu Tops 100 Million Streams In July
Note: According to data from Nielsen’s VideoCensus, Hulu reached 105 million video streams in July. The five-month-old Hulu – a joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp. – has enlisted Miami-based Crispin Porter + Bogusky to design an ad campaign to increase awareness of the site.

NBA Shoots For Local Streaming Of Live Games
Note: Although the largest sports leagues in the U.S. have worked to protect local television rights of live games until now, the National Basketball Association is looking into doing just that. The NBA is considering a plan to allow viewers to watch live games online in their local market for the first time. The idea has cable and satellite operators jockeying to protect long-held exclusivity rights.
