The Dark Knight Continues to Kill at Box Office
Note: Wow, was not expecting a trouncing like this. Sure it is summer, but to make $24m on a non-holiday monday is unprecedented. Spider-Man 3 only made $10m the monday after. Does The Dark Knight have the staying power to take down Titanic?

The Associated Press: 'Dark Knight' sets weekend record with $155.34M
Note: I called it! Though that margin is a bit too close to call thus far, it is actually an estimate that includes Sunday sales.

DARK KNIGHT sets all-time record for Midnight opening with $18.4M, topping REVENGE OF THE SITH!
Note: There were 5 midnight showings where I went, and they were all sold out. And, the movie totally lived up to its hype, which is an incredible feat.
