TripAdvisor Invests In Vacation Home Site
Note: TripAdvisor has announced that it has made a majority investment in FlipKey, a guest review site for vacation home rentals. Launched only last March, FlipKey covers 50,000 vacation rental properties in the U.S.

Former AOL Exec Lands Funding for News Aggregation Site
Note: Lewis Dvorkin, the former senior vice president of AOL News and Sports, has landed an undisclosed amount of funding for his new venture, an online news network called Public Post, paidContent.org reported. Investors include Forbes Media and Velocity Interactive Group. Dvorkin, who departed AOL in May following eight years at the company, said that the news aggregation site, which isn't yet live, will feature a slate of "knowledgeable" reporters -- including individual journalists, authors, bloggers and documentary filmmakers -- that are a step up from the "citizen journalists" featured on several other sites.

Delicious 2.0 Launches. Really. It Totally Launched.
Note: YAY! The long awaited, much promised, never delivered Delicious 2.0 launched moments ago, just like they promised again last week. The new Delicious is just like the old Delicious, except for the way it looks. Theyre also promising that it will be faster, easier to learn, and hopefully more desirable.
