NBC, Lorne Michaels Plotting SNL Video Site
Note: NBC and Lorne Michaels are in talks to develop a new on-demand video Web site that would feature an array of comedy clips built around Saturday Night Live, according to sources. While the project is still in the early developmental stage, it is believed the site would include a mix of sketches culled from the vast SNL library, as well as dress rehearsal skits that have never aired.

Mark Wahlberg Slams "Saturday Night Live"
Note: Mark Wahlberg is not a fan of a "Saturday Night Live" sketch from October 4th called "Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals" (scroll down to see it). In Sunday's NY Post, Wahlberg has a Q&A to promote his upcoming movie "Max Payne," and towards the end is asked what he thought. In the skit, Andy Samberg plays Wahlberg as he talks to a dog, a goat, a chicken and a donkey. It's described on NBC's website as "Barky Bark and the Donkey Bunch."

Iraq says time for British troops to go: report
Note: Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki was quoted on Monday as saying it was time for British combat forces to leave the south of the country because they were no longer needed to maintain security and control.

Fall Harvest Recipe: Neep, Snadgie or Swede?
Note: One of the fall harvests most overlooked and under appreciated vegetables is the tumshie. I mean the neep. Umm the snadgie? The swede? A cross between a turnip and a cabbage, this root was carved into a jack-o-lantern for Samhain Its high in vitamin C, beta carotene, potassium and magnesium Theres an international curling championship with this vegetable in Ithaca, NY You can store them in the fridge for a month
