Note: NHL players do a pretty good job of policing themselves. Excessive hot-dogging usually brings swift retribution. Ad libels a beloved American food: the hot dog
Note: Experts say commercial overstates the mystery meats link to colon cancer. Its a startling moment in an ad that vilifies one of Americas most beloved, if maligned, foods, while stoking fears about a dreaded disease.

The 10 Most Shameless Product Placements in Movie History
Note: The point is, if they have to show a Pepsi label now and then so Will Smith can keep the heat on in his home, we're fine with that. But don't rewrite the damned movie to work the product into the plot. Movies that disastrously stepped over that line include:

Is MerchantCircle.com Stealing your Customers or Traffic?
Note: What I did not like is that MerchantCircle.com's listings appeared before my clients own websites. From a business standpoint, this is not good as it may dilute the company’s visitors, provide erroneous information, and take potential search engine traffic away from the company. Not to mention potential trademark and tradename infringement.

Its Time to Kick Out Some Olympic Sports
Note: Theres no question theyre athletic, these muscled, agile women competing in Beijing. But the question remains: Should synchronized swimming and rhythmic gymnastics remain Olympics sports? Microsoft enlists Seinfeld, Gates to battle Get a Mac ads
Note: Those Apple Get a Mac ads have long been an annoyance to Microsoft and to Bill Gates in particular. No surprise as an emboldened Apple with rising market share has continued to ratchet up the venomous quips like, fear of switching is the foundation of customer loyalty for PCs. Now Microsoft is fighting back, with Jerry Seinfeld.
