American man arrested in Pakistani border region
Note:
PESHAWAR, Pakistan - Pakistani police say they have arrested a 20-year-old American man near the Afghan border in a region where Pakistani troops are fighting Islamic militants. Officer Pir Shahab said the man was arrested late Monday at a checkpoint in Charsadda, near the tribal region of Bajur.Shahab identified the man as Juddi Kenan and said his identification showed he was from Florida. He said the man did not have permission to be in the region as is required by Pakistani law and that authorities were investigating what he was doing.
A U.S. embassy spokesman said he had no information on the arrest.

NBC, Lorne Michaels Plotting SNL Video Site
Note:
NBC and Lorne Michaels are in talks to develop a new on-demand video Web site that would feature an array of comedy clips built around Saturday Night Live, according to sources. While the project is still in the early developmental stage, it is believed the site would include a mix of sketches culled from the vast SNL library, as well as dress rehearsal skits that have never aired.
