Hondas New $18,500 Insight to Debut at Paris Auto Show
Note: Much has been made of this car because of its low starting price (around $18,500) and higher people/hauling capacity when compared to the original Insight. The new Insights starting price will be lower than any other hybrid on the market, and was achieved by cutting the cost of Hondas IMA system, which should lower hybrid prices across the board

Note: Heres a look at 7 new logos from cities applying for the 2016 Summer Olympics. I think the 2016 games should be done online with various games in different cities. Maybe thats a stretch, but it would be cool to see one day.

Angels Batter Strikes Out On 4-2 Pitch [Non-Onion Story]
Note: Angels second baseman Sean Rodriguez actually struck out in the fourth inning on Thursday at Comerica Park on a 4-2 pitch. Rodriguez took two balls to take it to a 3-2 count officially -- when he should have walked. Since the Angels didnt catch the mistake, there was no course for appeal...

Rockslide kills at least 18 in Egyptian shanty town
Note: Massive boulders peeled away from a cliff and buried dozens of homes in an Egyptian shanty town Saturday, killing at least 18 people, authorities said. Rescuers were digging by hand to reach any survivors.

Note: Sandro Diaz is pulling off 900s in contest runs on a regular basis now. Tony Hawk pulled off the first 900 in skateboarding competition history, turning 2 rotations high above the halfpipe, landing with a slight touch of his right hand, and then riding the trick out clean to the wild ovation of a capacity crowd on Pier 30.
