Note: Tampa foreclosed homes for sale declined in number in October compared to October last year, but the number is still high. More than 6,200 foreclosure actions were filed in Tampa Bay, marking a drop of almost 18 percent from filings in October 2008.

Stockton Foreclosed Homes for Sale: 69 Percent of Home Sales
Note: Stockton foreclosed homes for sale accounted for over 69 percent of all house sales in the city in September. In the third quarter, foreclosure filings in the city rose by 1.6 percent to 8,000 filings from the previous quarter.

Note: Foreclosure properties sales in the Chicago area increased by more than 22 percent in the July to September quarter. Based on data from the Illinois Association of Realtors, overall home sales also increased while the median sales price decreased.
