Note: The guys at Bethesda announced today that Fallout 3 the game that everyone has been waiting for will hit retail stores on October 28th in North America and on October 31st in Europe.

Frankenreview: Too Human
Note: Too Human has been in development for more than a decade by Denis Dyack and the crew at Silicon Knights. The kick-off for the Cybernorse trilogy was critically panned when previews hit and Dyack was quick to attack those who dug into the early code. But now the game is in stores and there's no more room for excuse making. Jean Yves Blondeau, Rollerman
Note: Meet French designer Jean-Yves Blondeau. He’s invented the Buggy Rollin’ suit. It’s a suit that attaches wheels to every part of the body. All the major joints, chest and back become roller skates. This allows one to travel in almost any position. This strange contraption has earned Blondeau the name Rollerman. But Blondeau isn’t satisfied cruising sidewalks. He takes his suit to the extreme. He’s recorded a top speed of nearly 70 mph. He puts that speed to use in this video. You’ll see him rocket down a twisting road in the Swiss Alps.

U.S. Airways Boots 274 Stranded People Refuses To Pay Hotel
Note: Armed guards ordered 274 stranded passengers out of the Punta Cana airport with no place to go after bad weather forced U.S. Airways to cancel its flight from the Dominican Republic to Philadelphia.

Trim Castle
Note: On the south side of the Boyne River rises a magnificent stronghold, Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland. The castle was constructed over a thirty year period by Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter. Hugh de Lacy was granted the Liberty of Meath by King Henry II in 1176 in an attempt to curb the expensionist policies of Richard de Clare, {Strongbow}. The Castle is also known for the part it played in the filming of the Mel Gibson directed film Braveheart.

Weird and Wonderful Gadgets That Never Quite Took Off
Note: It was the invention of the future - a tiny machine complete with its own map that would tell motorists which way to go. But this was no GPS, it was a wristwatch-style device equipped with minuscule maps. It is one of the labour and face-saving devices to go on display from a private collection of weird and wonderful gadgets from the past.

Cheltenham Badlands
Note: The Cheltenham Badlands are a bizarre geographical spectacle that lies hidden in the Caledon Hills. This area consists of bare, windswept red hills and gullies that are very similar to that of the Alberta badlands. What makes them so bizarre is that they are found in Ontario.
