Carbon neutral: unreachable state
Note: The Carbon Neutral Fallacy, Part 1: It sounds so enticingly simple to anyone with a conscience about their carbon footprint; you can continue to drive your SUV, rack up flight miles or crank up your air conditioner guilt-free by simply paying someone, with a click of your mouse, to plant mango trees in India or install solar panels in Uganda.

When is a house too big?
Note: After 3 years of househunting, we have finally found a new home to fit our expanding family, but now I'm having second thoughts: do we really need more space? We will be going from about 1,200 to 2,800 square feet which will put us just above the national average home size of 2,459 square-feet, but given that the average back in 1970 was 1,400 square feet, I know even the average is not necessary.

The U.S. military's newest preemptive strike target: climate change unrest?
Note: It sounds like the perfect premise for the a Hollywood blockbuster in the style of Titanic or Escape From LA or the tv series 24, but instead it's a call to action for the US military and on our new need to focus inside our country and on the possibility of unrest arriving at our southern border due to climate change.
