Sequoia Capital Issues Warning About Downturn
Note: Gigaom reports that Sequoia Capital is telling its portfolio companies to take steps to survive the economic downturn. At a meeting yesterday, the venture capital giant told many of the companies it has invested in that they should cut costs and figure out a way to come out ahead on the other end of the current economic slump.

Note: Apparently ABC refused to air an ad during the Presidential debate on Tuesday that was created by the Alliance because it talks about using renewable energy instead of relying on foreign oil and coal. The campaign is trying to get at least 100,000 signatures to get the ad shown during the next 20/20 show.
