Intuit Embraces Layoffs, Social Media & Google Advice
Note: Layoffs at Intuit are under way. Approximately 600 people will be let go. “We invest where the puck is going to be”, said Brad Smith, Intuit’s CEO. He plans to reinvest whatever savings accrue from the cuts into online software initiatives.

NeuroSky Unveils Brainwave-Controlled Game
Note: NeuroSky, which develops wearable bio-sensors, is showing off a brainwave-controlled video game as a concept at this week’s Tokyo Game Show 2008. The game, developed in conjunction with Square Enix, involves NeuroSky’s commercial headset, which reportedly looks like regular headphones and is capable of working with several different gaming platforms.

Note: Hahahah did anybody realise that Samsung have started leaning towards the porn industry? I just can't stop thinking that the Samsung VP-MX20 looks shockingly like a Dildo with a built in camera. Meh it may just be my twisted sense of humour! Lets just hope it comes with a lense cover!

Note: An appropriations bill signed by President Bush last week allows the controversial National Applications Office to begin operating a stringently limited version of a program that would turn military spy satellites on the US, sharing imagery with other federal, state, and local government agencies.
