Sky Meadows State Park near the Blue Ridge - Paris, VA

Note: Mason Dixon Dragway, is a 1/4 mile N.H.R.A. Drag strip located in central Maryland. The racing season runs from March thru November with Championship Drag Racing, Track Elevation 550 Feet above sea level, Built in 1959

Note: Small Angels Rescue is holding their 1st Annual End-of-Summer BluesFest at Rose Hill Farm in Middletown. There will be live music by the Hard Swimmin’ Fish, food by Canapes Catering, and raffle prizes from regional businesses.

Man Arrested Near Capitol After IED, Rifle, Ammunition Allegedly Found in Jeep
Note: A man is under arrest in Washington after an improvised explosive device, a rifle and some ammunition were allegedly found in his jeep, Capitol Police said Friday.

Gauley River Festival ~ September 19th-21st ~ Summersville, WV
Note: Gauley Fest just keeps getting bigger and better! Started in 1983 to celebrate the derailment of a hydro-electric project that would have disrupted the flows on the Gauley River, Gauley Fest has grown to become the largest river festival in the world.
