Prince Is Being A "Creep," Radiohead Tell Him He's A Loser - Stereogum
Note: Prince covered "Creep" at Coachella. Most folks know this. That said, it's been difficult finding reliable footage of the Purple One's take on the top of the Modern Rock 500, because Prince's NPG people are extremely thorough about removing the clips, including the one's we've tried linking.

Who Charted: Death Cab For Cutie's No. 1 Album Inspires Lots Of Stair-Related Metaphors
Note: Last week, Death Cab For Cutie's Narrow Stairs was the only album to break the six-figures-sold mark, moving 144,000 copies and topping the SoundScan charts for the week. Some 55,000 of those sales came through digital outlets, enough for Stairs to top this week's digital-albums chart and make it the 16th-highest-selling digital album of the year.

The Hold Steady Are 'Positive' About New Tour, Single - Pressed for Sound
Note: "Sequestered in Memphis," the first single from Stay Positive, will be available as a digital download Tuesday on iTunes. A few days later, the group make "The Great Escape" to Brighton, England, for said festival. And, in a rather odd choice for a tour stop, Chula Vista, California, residents may experience their first taste of what indie-rock looks like at the 94.9 Independence Jam. More shows in North America and Europe will follow those dates into August.

Elbow Make Friends in Hollywood on Final Night of U.S. Tour - Buzznet
Note: On Friday night at the Avalon, Elbow played the last show of their U.S. tour to a packed house that likely felt lead singer Guy Garvey had designed the seamless set list for their ears only. It was as if the words just came to him in the moment and were meant solely for those in the audience to absorb.
