Putin Asserts Link Between U.S. Election and Georgia War
Note: Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Thursday that he had reason to think U.S. personnel were in the combat zone during the recent war in Georgia, adding that if confirmed, their presence suggested "someone in the United States" provoked the conflict to help one of the candidates in the American presidential race.

Note: DENVER: Good, great or something else, Senator Barack Obama's acceptance speech Thursday night unquestionably confronted two of his greatest challenges. One was to help voters, in emotion-laden language, to connect his promise of "change" to more earthly policy proposals, the other to show he could take the fight to Senator John McCain over Obama's own image and the best way forward for the nation. Obama showed real fire, and directed memorable fire at his opponent, even on McCain's signature issue, national security. "If John McCain wants to have a debate about who has the temperament and judgment to serve as the next commander in chief, that's a debate I'm ready to have," he said.

Note: Few insurance companies pick up the tab, so patients themselves decide where to spend their considerable money, and they do this largely based on a clinics success rate. As a result, many doctors try to game the system, producing high live birth success rates by cherry-picking patients. Lesbians, the disabled, and older women are often refused.
