Whitelist Email Instructions Generator
Note:
If you have a newsletter or send any type of email this will help you. Whitelist instructions are key to email delivery and easy with this free tool.
A recent study showed that only 22 percent of all email newsletters gave specific instructions to whitelist their newsletter. That is four out of five sites not offering any whitelist instructions to their subscribers. Talk about a missed opportunity.
I just recently (5/01/2008) have completely rewritten this page generator. It now includes more ISPs, Blackberries, SpamCop (yes SpamCop has a whitelist) who is now heavily used by Microsoft and ReturnPath, McAffee and Norton. If you have any additions or updates to offer, plese contact me at the top right. You can see my generated whitelist instructions here...

Forrester: Social networking means business, big business | The Social - CNET News.com
Note:
Your boss might block access to Facebook on the job, but that hasn't stopped Forrester Research from estimating that social networking will be a huge priority of "Enterprise 2.0."
In a new report written for the market research firm, as detailed by Larry Dignan at CNET News.com's sibling site ZDNet, analyst G. Oliver Young predicts that "Enterprise 2.0" applications--buttoned-up versions of the Web 2.0 apps we all know and love--will be a $4.6 billion industry by 2013. Social networks, Young wrote, will make up the bulk of that, with nearly $2 billion invested in them.

Stumbling Towards More Conversions | WebProNews
Note:
StumbleUpon has been around a while, and if you're like 5 million others, you understand what an addictive, stimulus-response type network it really is. But like with other social networks such as Digg, Twitter, or Facebook, many marketers are still at a loss for how to make the most of it.
There has to be value in it; eBay bought the thing for $75 million last year. One of the reasons was to extend its ad network—a good move considering StumbleUpon just hit 5 billion stumbles. There also is the quick and dirty* way to get exposure on the network, via the ad system.

Ex-Googlers working on stealth social search | Tech news blog - CNET News.com
Note:
Nathan Stoll, former product lead of Google News, has been quietly working on a new social search service he started with the help of two other Google refugees, CNET News.com has learned. The site, called Mechanical Zoo, is poised to launch in beta next month.
The San Francisco company, which is about 9 months old, has an impressive team of tech veterans. It was co-founded by Stoll; Max Ventilla, a former business development manager at Google; and Damon Horowitz, a longtime computer scientist and former lead engineer of Perspecta, a search software company that sold to Excite@Home in the dot-com heyday. Fritz Schneider, who was an application-security engineer at Google for about five years, heading up the Google Firefox team, is also a part of the 12-person staff.
