Genesis - Carpet Crawl (live)
Note:
"The Carpet Crawlers", also sometimes listed as "Carpet Crawl", "The Carpet Crawl" or "Carpet Crawlers", is a song originally from the 1974 Genesis concept album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. The ethereal counter melody is played by guitarist Steve Hackett.
In this portion of The Lamb story, the main character Rael finds himself in a red carpeted corridor, filled with strange creatures that are slowly crawling towards a red door at the end of the hall. Rael is able to move freely, so he dashes by them towards the door and goes through it. Behind the door is a table with a candle lit feast of food on it, and behind that, a spiral staircase that leads upwards out of sight.

Genesis - In Concert 1976 - I Know What I Like
Note:
Genesis: In Concert documents the concert tour that Genesis embarked on in 1976, after their album A Trick of the Tail. This was the first album on which Phil Collins assumed the duties of lead vocalist (following the departure of Peter Gabriel). On the album, Collins sings lead vocals and plays drums. But since Collins wanted to focus on his singing duties during live shows, Genesis brought in former Yes and King Crimson drummer Bill Bruford to play drums and percussion during this tour. The movie combines film of two shows: one at the Apollo Theatre in Glasgow, Scotland on July 9, 1976, and one at Bingley Hall in Staffordshire, England on July 10, 1976. During the songs "Cinema Show", "Entangled", and "Supper's Ready", the footage of the concert is combined with other film clips, often in an abstract manner. These portions of the movie could be considered partway between a concert film and a music video.

Genesis - Domino (live, Wembley) * stereo
Note:
(Wikipedia) "Domino" is a song written by the band Genesis for their 1986 album Invisible Touch. The song was the sixth track on the album. The music was written by the band, while the lyrics were written by keyboardist Tony Banks. The song is divided into two parts, known as "In the Glow of the Night" and "The Last Domino" respectively.
The B-side of the Tonight, Tonight, Tonight single was the first half of this song, "In the Glow of the Night", while the B-side of Invisible Touch was the second part of the song, "The Last Domino". On the 2nd Disc of the When in Rome 2007 live DVD, During a clip titled "Tony talks about his inspiration", Tony Banks states that his inspiration for the song lyrics was the Lebanon war occurring at that time. He set the action on a hotel room in Beirut, minutes after bombs starts to fall on the city.

Genesis - Man On The Corner (rare version)
Note:
from the Genesis album, Abacab. (Wikipedia) The lyrics describe a man who spends his days on a street corner, shouting at the passerby. According to the radio show In the Studio with Redbeard (which spotlighted the making of the abacab album), the song was composer Collins' first song about the homeless epidemic and society's reluctance to help the homeless and/or find a resolution. However, the lyrics speculate he may also know what he's talking about. Backed by a simple drum machine beat, the song takes a musically dark tone.

Genesis - Abacab * stereo
Note:
The title 'Abacab' is taken from the structure of an early version of the song. Guitarist Mike Rutherford explained in an interview that the band labeled various sections of the song with letters of the alphabet, and at one point the sections were ordered A-B-A-C-A-B. Rutherford commented that the completed song no longer followed this format, but the name was kept nevertheless.
The track was regularly performed on the band's 1981 Abacab tour, the 1982 Three Sides Live Encore Tour, the 1983/84 Mama Tour and the 1986/87 Invisible Touch tours. On the first two tours, Phil Collins would sing the chorus in a high falsetto while Banks and Rutherford sang the lower harmonies. Then for the latter two tours, Collins would sing the chorus in a lower octave while Rutherford sang the higher falsetto harmonies.

Genesis - Los Endos (live, 1977)
Note:
Filmed in 1977 during the 'Seconds Out' tour with Steve Hackett on guitar. (Wikipedia) "Los Endos" is an instrumental piece by English progressive rock band Genesis from their 1976 album A Trick of the Tail. It is one of the band's few forays into the world of jazz fusion and reflects drummer Phil Collins's involvement in the instrumental band Brand X. As the title suggests, the song was featured at the end of the album, and it was also featured at the end of Genesis's concerts, usually as a medley with "Dance On A Volcano" and a drum duet between Collins and Chester Thompson in between.
The song contains excerpts from three other songs recorded during the Trick of the Tail sessions: The intro is from "It's Yourself," a song which appeared as the B-side to "Ripples" (as well as "Your Own Special Way" from the Wind & Wuthering album in 1977.) The closing section features riffs and melodies from "Dance On A Volcano" and "Squonk".
During the fade out of the song, Phil Collins sings "There's an angel standing in the sun...There's an angel standing in the sun / free to get back home." These lines are from the "As Sure As Eggs is Eggs (Aching Men's Feet)" section of "Supper's Ready" from 1972's Foxtrot. The band included these lyrics in "Los Endos" as an homage to original lead vocalist Peter Gabriel, who had left the band in 1975.
The reprise of "Dance on a Volcano" at the end of "Los Endos" gives the album a bookend effect that is found on other Genesis albums, such as Selling England by the Pound, Seconds Out (Reprising motifs from "Squonk", which is the first song of the album) and Duke.

Genesis - I Can't Dance (1992) * stereo
Note:
(Wikipedia) During one recording session, Mike Rutherford first created the main riff of the song he called "Heavy A Flat", to which Phil Collins suddenly improvised "I Can't Dance!" Originally the Band didn't think of it anything more than a joke, because the song was too simple, too bluesy and completely unlike Genesis' style. Tony Banks said in an interview "It was one of those bits you thought was going to go nowhere. It sounded fun, but wasn't really special".
It wasn't until Banks added the keyboard sound effects that the song took on a whole different feeling, with a slight edge of humor in it, which made the Band decide to record it.
The video to this song is a humorous one, illustrating the artifice and fake glamour of television advertisements. Phil Collins himself said that the video was designed to make fun of the models in jeans commercials, and each verse refers to the things that the models in these commercials do. "Weird Al" Yankovic also created a separate version of the video in which he appears alongside the band. Mismatched lighting suggests his shots were separate from the others.
The song created the "I Can't Dance dance" (a series of stiff, stylized motions). Phil Collin's explained in an Interview that when he was at stage school, that he would see kids that would always use the same hand and the same foot when they were tap dancing, meaning they couldn't co-ordinate. So he copied their movements and the "dance" was born.
