Note: CBS Radio has announced the launch of a new video platform for its 140 radio station Web sites. The platform, powered by www.worldnow.com, will give stations the ability to create personalized branded video players that can feature music videos, artist interviews, live concerts, breaking news and original programming. The platform debuted Wednesday for four CBS Radio stations in New York: WWFS-FM, WCBS-AM, WXRK-FM and WFAN-AM. Note: The Federal Communications Commission is testing prototypes to decide whether they can operate in the airwaves that will be available after the February switch to digital television. Last week, those tests moved from the lab into the field.
