Note: The foreclosure market is getting wild in Lake Elsinore: "Taking advantage of a slump in local real estate, a family of bobcats has moved into a foreclosed Lake Elsinore home, lolling about on fences and walls and riveting an entire neighborhood."

Travel Insurance
Note: You know how your mother always tells you to wear clean under wear in case you’re in an accident, that’s kind of what travel insurance is like. You have to have it just in case because should something unfortunate happen (cross your fingers, turn in a circle three times to the left and spit on your right shoe for luck) you are really going to want to be covered for it.

Cat survives 70-mile trip under owner's truck - Yahoo! News
Note: A cat survived a 2 1/2-hour trip on a spare tire under her owner's truck. Gil Smith recently drove from his Gilbert home 70 miles away for a business meeting in Kearny. When he got out of the truck, he heard a cat in distress and realized it was his.

In Dealing With Death, Are Animals Just Like Us or Pretty Much Unaware?
Note: As anybody who has grieved inconsolably over the death of a loved one can attest, extended mourning is, in part, a perverse kind of optimism. Surely this bottomless, unwavering sorrow will amount to something, goes the tape loop. Surely if I keep it up long enough I’ll accomplish my goal, and the person will stop being dead.
